A NEW BEGINNING

Afternoon, it's been a long time since I've been on here, so let's get started with some new things.  I now use Instagram all the time not Facebook, I check Facebook about 2 times a week just to see what's going on in the world (if you know what I mean).

Ok, the last year and a half I've been in and out of hospital with my kidneys. After being rushed in on blue lights, then being transferred to another hospital on blue lights and told  'You're a very poorly lady', they found a lump the size of a golf ball on my left kidney, which they told me Rake Lane Hospital had known about 3 years ago but never told me and it had grown since then. I have an operation the next day to have it removed, but after two and a half hours they had to stop, and I would need another operation in about 6 weeks time once I had recovered from my first operation. On Thursday 28th July 2022 at 7:00am I will be going into Freeman Hospital, Newcastle for my 6th operation and hopefully the last one I'll need.

Since Covid-19 (coronavirus) pandemic started here in 2019, having to go through Lock down twice,  apart from going to hospital and picking up my granddaughter from school I haven't been out of the house or been in a shop or in  public places. What have I been up to all this time.......  Crocheting, I'm not sure how many blankets adult, children and baby ones I've made as well as baby dress sets, baby jackets sets, toys, scarves for the homeless, baby hats for hospitals. I also handmade crochet hearts to show someone cared, crochet crosses at Easter, crochet poppies for Remembrance Day and jewellery angels for Christmas for all the people (120) in the 2 streets where I live. So I've been busy and haven't missed going out of the house at all.
