My Review:-My granddaughter, Emily and I decided to read this book together as one of her bedtime stories. We get to meet Pasta Sam, Mummy Pasta and Pasta Pop. It's not a nice day outside and Pasta Sam is bored, He can't play outside with his friends or his dog and Pasta Pop is busy watching TV. Mummy Pasta has a idea that will be fun but also a way to learn something new. Mummy Pasta decides to teach Pasta Sam how to make Brownies. Using Mummy Pasta's recipe book they find a recipe, Gooey Chocolate Brownies. After getting everything that they needed together it's time to start, Mummy Pasta tells Pasta Sam that touching the oven or anything hot is dangerous and you must ask for help from a grown up and also take care. It's not long before its times for Pasta Sam to clean the chocolate off the spatula. Once the brownies were made they have to cool, but they disappear, where have they gone? That's for you to find out when you read the book. This is a great book as a story, but also as a learning book. The illustrations tells the story for younger readers, as well as it being an easy read for older children. The back of the book has the Brownie recipe so you can try it out for yourself.
