Fighting Green

Fighting Green
By Kate Foley
Genre:- Saga
Blurb:- Going back to your past can be harder than you imagine
Liz Green is desperate for a change. The Dot-Com boom is raging in the City of London, and she feels exhausted and out of her depth. Added to that, her long-term boyfriend, Sean O'Connor, is drinking too much and shows signs of going off the rails. Determined to start anew, Liz abandons both Sean and her job, and buys a near-derelict house in Ireland to renovate.
She moves to Thomastown where she renews old ties and makes new ones, including two lawyers who become rivals for her affection. When Sean's attempt to win her back goes disastrously wrong, Liz finishes with him for good. Finding herself almost penniless, and forced to seek new ways to survive, Liz is torn between making a fresh start and going back to her old loves. Her options diminish as the problems mount, and she doesn't know who to trust anymore.
Can Liz make a go of her new life, and maybe find a second chance romance?
This is the third book in the Green Family Saga. If you like drama and romance in an Irish setting, you'll love this follow up to Africa Green.

My Review:- This is book 3 in the Green Family Saga. Liz has had enough of the Dot-Com and has decided she's going to move back to Ireland and buy's a house. She's been through so much and she can see Sean turning into his dad, Brian O'Connor who was an alcoholic. Is this the end of Sean and her or when he turns up in Ireland will he decide to stop the drinking and fight for her.  Liz is a strong independent woman, and  she doesn't always trust people, especially men. I have to say I was like Liz on who to trust and who to stay away from. I will be reading the other two books in the Green Family Saga, Africa Green and Rebel Green.
