By the end of his journey he has changed in ways he could never have imagined; he needs to get home, but the pull of Avalon leaves him with a difficult decision to make.
Review:- When I seen the cover of this book I knew this would be something both my daughter and myself would enjoy reading. Arthur is just like any other 13 year old boy, he’s never be one that believed in fairies, monsters, and magic they were just in comics until a school trip to Stonehenge. Arthur is transported to Avalon. The fantasy of magical creatures, mythical monsters, Spike a dragon and a villain called Morgana all begins. When it’s time to return back to his own world will he go.
The Author Lynne W Bailey has wrote this book so well you will think you are the one that has been transported to Avalon

My granddaughter Emily and I sat down together to read Axel’s First Day, this is a book that can be read to small children but also a good book for children that are starting to read themselves. Axel’s is a little forklift that is so looking forward to his first day helping at a construction site, but because he wants to do, see and help everyone he try’s to do everything at once without listening or waiting for anyone else. Axel speeds around, poor Gaby has her strap snapped. Digby who’s the foreman has to step in and stop Axel before anything else happens. After Digby and the crew explains to Axel how everyone helps each other, things are a lot better. The illustrations are bight and colour, with plenty for children to talk about. View Through The Speculum (a nurse’s thirty-seven years OB-GYN career)

By:- Judy Warrenton
Genre:- Memoir
Pages:- 104
Blurb:- First published book by this author. This book is the story of how the author evolved in the 1960s from being just a homemaker into becoming a licensed practical nurse who worked for five years in labour and delivery and another thirty-two in a busy on-gym practice. There are some sad stories and some hilarious stories. It offers a window into the humanity of both doctors and nurses, ant their contribution to a life for mothers and babies
Thank you to @lovebookstours@judywarrenton for my #gifted copy and your.
πŸ‘ΆπŸΌπŸ‘©‍🍼My review:- This is a story of Rikki, once a stay at home mam to a young child, who decided to go into on-gyn nursing. Reading this book took me back to when I had my first child in the 80s, how Rikki describes how the nurse would wheel the babies to the mothers to be fed then back to the nursery, something that would never happen now. Reading about the doctors, nurses and staff when she worked at The Women’s Practice. I did love the story about Lil ( a secretary), when Dr Slinger asked for her help, not knowing the medical terms and being a bit squeamish, when the doctor asked for a 4x4 she handed him a tongue depresser as she knew what a 2x4 was and that was the closest.
It is amazing how the ob-gyn has improved over the years, not just for both parents and babies but for the nursing staff.
This is a book that I would buy for a few of my friends. πŸ‘©‍⚕️πŸ€±πŸ‘¨‍🍼🍼
