My Review:- As soon as I seen this book, I knew I was going to enjoy it and it didn't disappoint me. Sir David Attenborough is a national treasure and still works hard on what he loves. This book covers the life and love of nature of Sir David Attenborough. We have some fun stories from his childhood to his life now. It also including his career with the BBC and adventures around the world. Sir David is a climate change campaigner, advocates for population control. This book is full from cover to cover with facts, anecdotes, tributers and beautiful illustrations. You'll see Sir David's sense of humour which I love. This would make a great gift for everyone, especially this time of the year.

My Review:-A story of love and friendship in early 1960s Britain. Janie is a young woman who's married boss got her pregnant, after taken advantage of her. When Janie's mother, who's an alcoholic found out about her being pregnant she through her out. The only thing Janie could do was rent an isolated cottage with the savings she had. When Laura's marriage ends, she moves in to the adjoining cottage to Janie with her son, Luke. A friendship between Janie and Laura soon develops. Not long after the friendship becomes more, which is something new for them both. Not long after Janie has her baby daughter, that a social worker calls and wants Janie to sign her daughter over to the Catholic charity, Cedars Moral Welfare. This is a beautiful and heart warming story.

My Review:-I decided to ask my granddaughter to review 'Joy of Christmas' and this is what she said for her review... I liked the children and they were excited because it was Christmas. Before they went home the teacher told them a story about Jesus being born in Bethlehem. The beginning was different because I didn't know about the snake and people not being nice to God. I liked the pictures showing the shepherds, all the angels and baby Jesus in a manger. the book was easy to read, with loads of pictures and there was lots of colours and we talked about the book I enjoyed it.

My Review:-This Book is is part of the 'Twin Power' series. Sebastian and Simone aren't just brother and sister. they're twins. Sebastian and Simone remember that they have twin power when they work together. When they start playing with the other children in the neighbourhood Simon makes the snowball for  Sebastian throw. Because they worked together as a team they won the snowball fight. The illustration are bright, colourful and fun, which younger children will love. This is a great book to teach children about sharing and working together.

My Review:-This is a book that has everything you need in a good Christmas story. While Mrs Claus is busy doing her yoga, Santa and the Elves are busy for Santa to go and deliver the presents. Just when Santa has delivered the last of the presents and gets back home, an alarm starts to ring...what can be happening?  I don't want to say much more as there are plenty of surprises for your little ones to find out. This book is one of my top five books for Christmas...what makes it on my list, everyone can read it as it's especially design for people with dyslexia, like myself. It was lovely to pick a book up and read so easy without having to concentrate as much. The pictures are beautiful for all children, there is so much that you can talk about in this book which smaller children will love.

My Review:-An modern day Muslim romance. Palestinian Samira Abd-Alazziz is twenty seven-year-old. Samira has met plenty of suitors, but she always finds they're not for her. Samira has done everything right, abiding by cultural dating rules. When Samira meets Menem, things start to look up for her, she might of found the right one, but there's one problem Menem will soon be Zahra, her cousin's brother-in-law. Then her childhood best friend Hakeem starts to act different towards her, but Samira can't see it, until it's pointed out to her.  What will she do? This is a well wrote and easy to read novel. I loved the characters, especially Samira.

My Review:-My granddaughter Emily decided she would read this book to me for our bedtime story. We got to meet Ralphy the pup, along with Jackson Johnson the Furrapist. Ralphy was driving the school bus and Jackson went along to help with the children and their emotions that they were feeling that morning. After talking about it and thinking about things that makes them happy, the children could then decide to either take their emotion with them into school or leave them on the seat of the bus. The book shows how the children were feeling using faces. This is a great book for children that don't fully understand they emotions and with help you can decide how to feel better. Emily found the book easy to read and enjoyed the illustrations that went with it.
