My Review:-My granddaughter Emily and I decided to read this as one of her bedtime stories. This is a review from Emily-Sam is nine-years-old and loves playing, singing and dancing. Sam loves bright colours and isn't bothered what people think about she wears or does. Sam is starting a new school and wanted to wear something special. Sam wasn't sure what the children would think of her, but she remembers 'Don't ever dim your light, as you should always shine bright', what her mam said. At first she was the brightest colour, but it wasn't long before Liv and Hugh joined in with bright colours, then everyone joined in, even Ms Gray the teacher who wasn't any fun. I liked how the pictures of Sam was bright and loads of colour and the other was black and white, but when they joined in they turned bright and loads of colour. The book was easy to read and lots to talk about in it. It tells you that you should be yourself and not what your friends want you to be, 5 stars from Emily
