My Review:-The first thing I noticed about this book was the butterfly on the cover. I don't normally comment on the feel of a book, but this one feels soft and smooth (nice just to stroke with your hand). John Purkiss takes you on a journey of how you think. We learn how to let go of things that don't need to be in our head. You will learn exercises, mindfulness, practical techniques. This journal is set out with different colour pages along with plenty of space for you to write your thoughts, feelings, if you have any worries. You can also look back at what you've wrote and see if you need to do anything different, rather than carrying it all inside yourself. There are illustrations throughout the book. This is a journal that can help you everyday.

My Review:- Deadly Return: An English small town cozy mystery. This is Book One in "The Seacastle Mysteries." Tanya has just got divorced and she's busy moving into her new but old terraced house. This is where she meets Harry Fletcher, he was clearing the house next door out. We also meet Hades at this time, I'll let you find out about Hades yourself. Tanya owns a little vintage furniture shop in town, which Harry can help her with. Melanie, an old school friend is found at the bottom of the stairs, the police think she's fell, but Tanya knows different., something isn't adding up. Tanya was once an investigator journalist, so she knows there's more to this than everyone thinks. What will she find out and why was Melanie at the bottom of the stairs?
I've read a few of P,J, Skinner's book and she's never disappointed me, and this is another one of her great writing skills. I loved the plot and the pace it flowed with.

My Review:-There is nine stories of love, all together in one book. This is the type of book I love having with me in the car, so when I'm waiting for my grandkids at school or waiting for other reasons, I can grab it and read one story and haven't got to keep stopping in the middle of a story as in long books. I didn't really have a favourite as I did enjoy each one. But I did like @News From London' and how it started "Zach. I'm pregnant." One night together and Alex is pregnant, What were they going to do? I also liked 'Mel Comes to the Mountain or Chekhov and Mayonnaise. What Happens After The Jaded Widow' I wasn't sure why mayonnaise was in the title until I read it. You need to read it to find out, As I'm not telling.

My Review:-Anna Sinclair has a past that she is running from and doesn't want anyone to know. Anna's life in Scotland wasn't easy and when you're running from the police it's even harder, especially when you have a daughter that doesn't like rules and isn't one to make life easy for you.  What can Anna's secret be? Anna's dream is to open up a women's hospital, but no one is going to help her, but she's not one that gives up easy, she determined this is going to work. When you have a secret that you're trying to hide, but you know if it comes out you'll lose everything. What would you do?  Anna's a strong woman and not one to hold anything back, if she has something to say she'll say it and that's what I like about her. There are a few things that you'll not expect.
This book had me wanting more from Chapter One, which shows just how good Mhairead MacLeod is as a writer. I ended up staying up later than I thought, as I just had to find out the end, which wont disappoint you

My Review:-This is Book 1 of 1: Harriet Farrell. The cover is what drew me in as I thought it looked mysterious. Harriet Dunwoody who's pregnant and Conté Marie-Louise Louverture are close, more like best friends than Conté being Harriet's maid. We start with Harriet and Conté at the docks working out how much dynamite will it take to blow up HMS Serendipitty, but this wasn't just any ship, it was 533 tons, 68 pounds guns, 5inch-iron-plated armour, a 15-foot spiked ram. They need a ton of dynamite to it up. Royston Chubb was the man to sort it. But why and who is behind this?
Conté wakes but she's in a fresh dug grave with Mr Ake standing over her, she knows what is next. Harriet is in pain and crys out for Conté but no answer. Pat finds Harriet and explains everything. Harriet finds Banastre her husband, but he wasn't expecting what she does next, especially with her being in labour.
Harriet hands the keys to Pat. Harry (Harriet) brings baby Conté to St James Cemetery to visit Conté grave. Only problem she's not the only one, Mr Ake is there as well.
That's all I'm telling you. I have to say I've enjoyed this book along with the characters. I've read this book in one sitting as I had to find out the whys and who.

My Review:-Before The Storm is Book3 in 'The Liverpool Mysteries Series.' The grabbed me as soon as it started, A suspicious death, threatening text messages and an accident that isn't an accident. Vinny tells us the story as he helps Helen, his wife recover after her accident, where she was run off the road. We are taken back to when Sammo, Macca and Vinny were kids. Has the childhood of these three got something to do with the present? There are plenty going on in this book, there is a bit of romance, danger, history, and mystery. There are twists going through the book, some you won't be expecting. I could tell you more but I don't do spoilers, so you will have to get the book and find out what happens to Vinny and the other characters.
