My Review:-Here we have Book Three in 'The Fitzmooris Family Mysteries'. I've had the pleasure of reading and reviewing books 1 & 2, so I was looking forward to see what was instore for me and it didn't disappoint at all. You can read this book as a standalone with no problem. The story is set in the Cotswold, a place that I know well, so even though the names of the places are different I could still see where and what the author was on about. Even though we know who the murder is and get to meet them, we still have to watch who the next victim is going to be. The story has a bit of everything...humour, romance, mystery, a friendly community and a handsome policeman. It's a book that I read in one sitting.

My Review:-Wow, 'Fire and Bones' is Book 23 in the 'Temperance Brennan Series', but this is my first. Tempe's is a forensic anthropologist, she is called to Foggy Bottom, Washington, DC to analyse victims of a mysterious arson attack.  Teaming up with telejournalist Ivy Doyle, they decide to look deeper into the fire, It's not long before they find out that in the 30s and 40s the build was once used by bootleggers and racketeers, known as Foggy Bottom Gang. It's not long before the son of one of the old gang is found dead on his farm in Virginia. Tempe's knows it's connected, she just needs to find out why and who is involved, also why does it feel like someone is one step in front of her every time. I love Kathy's writing style and great descriptions she puts into the story. She knows how to pull you in and keep you turning the pages, which had me reading the book in one day. I can't wait to see what Kathy has in store for the next book, I'm going to look for others by her.

My Review:-I decided to sit down with my grandchildren to read this book and we all loved it. The illustrations are beautiful and fit just right with this book, they are beautifully drawn and also colourful.

There is so much to talk about within the book, but also topics that are similar. We also spoke about us starting from a seed and how we grow and decide what path we go along. This is a book for both young and older children. We ended up talking about the book for a few days, as my grandchildren kept asking questions which I was happy to answer and talk about.

My Review:- This is a dual timeline. Two women have to decide what is going to be best for themselves, searching for what life can give to them and show them how their life can be if they step out of their own comfort zone.

 Gun lives with her mother and Nana in the same seaside town she has lived her whole life. Tawrie wants more, and decides to take up wild swimming, which means she will swim every morning March to September with a group of swimmers known by the 'Peacock Swimmers'.

 Twenty years ago Harriet Stratton had to decided what was best for her children, Dilly and Bear as well as herself. Even moving away to Ilfracombe seals to try and save her marriage after finding out her husband, Hugo had been unfaithful to her. But thing don't always work out no matter how much you try.

I love Amanda's writing style, she put her whole self into this beautiful and heartwarming story.

My Review:-Looking in from the outside, Sasha Fulton has everything she could possibility needed, a great career in media, a happy marriage and perfect children. But to Sasha she's feels like she's having a break down, everything is getting to much for her and she needs help...Could Sasha's new assistant, Jenna really be what she needs to help her get but to normal or is there more to Jenna than meets the eye?

 I love the storyline of this book, two women that wants what the other one has, both of them devious and manipulative. Are these women really who you think they are?  I thought I knew what was going to happen, but I was totally wrong, plenty of twists and turns that will keep you turning the pages till the end.

My Review:-This is Book Two in the 'Gods Galore' series about the Olympian Gods in the 21st Century AD. I had the pleasure of reading and review Rupert's first book and this one hasn't disappointed me. This book can be read as a standalone, but I would recommend reading book one first. This book is filled to the brim with humour and laughter, which we all need. Rupert has brought the Gods and Goddesses into the 21st Century  in a way that only he could do. We have Mars, in talks with Tyrant of Tyrantland to start a war. I do like Death the most, especially when he's thinking about a Mrs Death and retiring to Bournemouth, as well as having to hand down all he knows to Mister Death. It's definitely Death having a mid-death crisis. I'm not going to give anything away, this is a book that you have to read for yourself, and make sure your not around a lot of people because once you start to laugh you won't stop

 I've never been one for the Greek Gods, not even at school, but Rupert puts a different light on them, one that you can't help but love them.

My Review:-Rhona MacLeod a forensic scientist has been teaching a an women prison, that's where she meets Marnie Aitken, a woman that goes missing not long after her release from prison.

 A group of friends find a man's body in s deserted farmhouse, but that's not makes them run, he is naked, tied to a chair, with his mouth and eyes sewn up.

 A missing movie star goes missing while filming, but nobody knows anything. 

It's up to Rhona, DS Clark, DS McNab and Chrissy McInsh to work together and find out if there is a link between all three. It's not going to be easy, but as they start looking closer, more starts adding up. I'm not giving anything away. This is a MUST READ book, the storyline is excellent, full with twists and turns throughout. I can wait to see what Lin has instore for us next.
