Holt is a 15-year-old pot washer in the Order Hall of Crag. Holt discovers that only dragons that are pure and fit are kept, the ones that don't pass are killed. Holt decides to take one of the eggs, even though he doesn't know what he's going to do with it. The dragon is blind, but after talking and getting some advice from some dragon riders he begins to bond with the dragon. Will this mean his dream of being a dragon rider is coming true or is this the end.

My Review:-Anna and her mother, Ruby get some bad new that her father is in hospital in Scotland and is not expected to make it, so her mother travels to se him. Anna passes her exams and gets a job "Special Reconnaissance Department at the docks. Captain Charles Milburn has a reputation of being a ladies man, all the women seem to fall for his charm and he thinks nothing about sleeping with married women or young ladies. 2nd Lieutenant Geoffrey Chandler is the opposite, he does like Anna but unfortunately Anna does know this. Geoffrey has a conversation will Charles about how he likes Anna but he doesn't know her name at the time and doesn't know what to do. My Review:-All my kids love Marvel, so when I was asked to review this book I was only to happy, Thought it was a good way of learning about some of the characters they go on about.  This is Book 8 in "Marvel Heroines" but my first. Agent Bobbi Morse  is going through a divorce from Hawkeye and needs some space and get away. Bobbi's former mentor/professor has gone missing and this is just what she needs to get away from everything. Bobbi is teamed up with Lance Hunter, we learn about how they met which I liked. I did think that Bobbi and Lance made a great team. Bobbi will stop at nothing to find out what is going n and bring her ex mentor to safety. The book is full of action, but also there is a bitt fun along the way. I have to say I did read it in one sitting and can see why my kids love it. I will now be looking for the other books in the series. Anyone that is a fan, needs to read this .

My Review:-This is Book One in "A Dolly Mystery." The cover is what I noticed and I thought it would be a good holiday read and I wasn't wrong.
Rita is a Scottish make-up artist who has come to Madeira to see if she can find out who killed Kim-Jim, an American make-up supremo. Johnson is the opposite to Rita, he's quiet and a bit moody and we also have Dolly his boat.
There is so much going on as the plot moves along, you'll find some of the things that Rita comes out with funny. I loved this book for the start, the twist just kept coming. Looking forward to Book Two.
