My Review:-How cute is Dash, looks like she's had mud splashed on her, as my granddaughter says. Learning about Leukemia isn't easy for anyone let alone a child, so having a book with a cute dog will help you. I love how we learn about Dash and Navya, Dash's handler. We meet Ada, a 10-year-old that has just found out she has leukemia and is going to start chemotherapy. Ada is due for surgery later on in the morning but is really afraid. Dash gets to meet Ada, Dash even shows Ada how to put her gown on ready for surgery, Dash helps Ada to relax. The book takes us on Ada's journey, from getting ready for surgery, having a port fitted and chemo. There is a note from Ada and one from Dash at the back of the book, we also meet Alicia who is the facility dog at Mayo Clinic. This book would be a big help for children and even older people that are going through and learning about leukemia.
