My Review:-It's 1936, the Queen Mary is about to set sail on it's way to New York and hopefully to win the Blue Riband trophy. Alice is joining her dad Staff Captain Townsend and is excited for both being with her dad but also for the competition. Before setting sail Alice meets a few of the crew while waiting for her dad.
Alice sees a shocking attack and realises someone is trying to stop the ship winning the competition, but why does someone want to stop her father winning.
Alice, her new friend Sonny and Rocket need to try and find out who is behind this, but the weather is not on their side as it starts to change. I let you find out who Rocket is.
This book has something for everyone, mystery, drama, suspense, attempted murder. family secrets and gold bars. My granddaughter Emily who's 9-years-old and myself have really enjoyed this book. I would recommend that you give it a read, you won't be disappointed.
