My Review:-This is a book that I wanted to read. Myles is Lilly's assistance dog. Lilly is autistic and Myles helps her in everyday life, keeping her safe and calm. Why Myles and Lilly's grandma have a nap, Lilly explores her grandma's house. What has she found...CLICK, CLICK, the hand torch clicks on and off. Once the rain stops to was time for Lolly and Myles to explore and take the torch with her. On the beach, some children stop and stroke Myles, and Lilly goes into a dark cave on her own, click went the torch. Myles notices Lilly has gone into the cave and goes after her.
I loved everything about this book. There is so much detail that has went into this book along with the pictures, that you can also tell your own story. This is a lovely book to help younger children understand about autism and about assistance dogs.
My grandchildren loved hearing about Myles and Lilly, I'm in a wheelchair and Abby my dog helps me. she also makes me feel safe. Learning about a different disability and how things help is an important part about this book. Children will love it.
