My Review:-This is Book One in 'The Mudlark Mystery Series.' Since the death of both their parents,  Joe feels that it's up to him to protect and keep an eye out for Edie as much as he could. They had to make money in what ever way they could, mudlarking in the Thames, London was the best way they knew. Joe finds what at first he thought was a pig, but it wasn't. It was something that was going to change their lives forever. What could this be?
The book was a fast read, with a few twists that you'll not expect. My granddaughter is 9-years-old and there was a few things I had to explain to her, but a part from that we enjoyed the book.
