For fans of Emily Henry's Book Lovers, The Roughest Draft is the debut adult novel from Emily Wibberley and Austin Siegemund-Broka.
Their romance was a bestseller. Too bad it was all fiction....
Three years ago, Katrina Freeling and Nathan Van Huysen were the brightest literary stars on the horizon, their co-written book topping bestseller lists. But on the heels of their greatest success, they ended their partnership on bad terms, for reasons neither would divulge to the public. They haven't spoken since, and never planned to, except they have one final book due on contract.
Facing crossroads in their personal and professional lives, they're forced to reunite. The last thing they ever thought they'd do again is hole up in the tiny Florida town where they wrote their previous book, trying to finish new manuscript quickly and painlessly. Working through the reasons they've hated each other for the past three years isn't easy, especially not while writing a romantic novel.
While passion and prose push them closer together in the Florida heat, Katrina and Nathan will learn that relationships, like writing, sometimes take a few rough drafts before they get it right.

My review:-We have two famous authors, Katrina Freeling and Nathan Van Huysen. Katrina and Nathan have wrote a best seller, but something has happened that they no longer want to talk of have anything to do with each, and they don't want to talk about it either. But there is one big problem, a contract they both signed to say they must do one more book together. They meet back up in Florida to write the novel together. To write the novel they have to first find themselves and work on their relationship before they can work on their novel. It's not easy writing a novel when the two authors hate each other. I found this an enjoyable book to read.
