The Writer's Guide To Obscurity
By John Steinberg
Illustrations By :-Fiona Wilson
Genre:-Contemporary Fiction/Historical Fiction/Humorous Fiction
Blurb:-Norman was born to write, but doesn't know his destiny is written in his DNA, inherited from generations of earlier Norman's who yearned to put pen to paper-once those items has been invented!
Yet with nothing to show for all his literary endeavours and struggling to pay the rent, he tells himself there must be easier ways of making a living.
It's only when Norman discovers his descent from a long line of wordsmiths who'd experienced many of the same setbacks as himself yet had found the resolve to keep on going, that he wants to know: 'What was their secret?'

My Review:-Norman takes us on a journey through his eyes. The book starts with an Illustration by Fiona Wilson showing Ancient Norman 4500BC to Modern Norman 1900-Present. Norman shows us just how hard it has been and still is to be a writer. From writing on stone to now on paper or online, it's still a hard thing to get into. I loved the little illustrations that are throughout the boy. It was on interesting read and many laughs along the way. This would be a great gift for any writer or upcoming writer.
