Blurb:-Born and raised in a stark. coastal village on the shore of the Ice-Rimmed Sea, Bera is the daughter of a Valla, the Vikings' most powerful seers. My Review:-I have heard about this book but hadn't read it. So when I was asking if I would like to review, what could I say but yes. I did find it a bit slow to start but once I got into it, I started to enjoy it more. There are some character that you see grow as you read the story, and Bera is one of them, once a teenager, becoming a woman. i haven't read many Viking books but I did feel like I knew about the beliefs and myths. I did like the writing style, along with the research the author must of done, especially with the vocabulary she used throughout the story. I'm looking forward to Book 2
